Where your data is stored

Records you create in the app are stored locally on your device in protected iOS storage. We have no access to this data and no server of our own that receives it.

• Word pronunciation uses the system speech synthesiser on device.

Cloud sync

The app does not use iCloud or any other cloud storage. Data can be moved between devices only through a backup you create yourself.

Accounts

No registration is required or available. We do not know who you are.

Network requests

The app works offline: its content and the records you create are not sent anywhere. The network is used in two cases — purchases are handled by the App Store, and, if you switched anonymous statistics on yourself, events go to our own collector.

Anonymous statistics

The app can send anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, but only if you turn the corresponding switch on in settings. It is off by default, and no install identifier exists until you enable it. Statistics contain no IP address, device model, name or contents of your records. Turning the switch off deletes the event queue and the identifier.

Purchases

Paid features are bought through the App Store (StoreKit). Apple processes payment data; we never receive your card number or store payment information. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Who receives the statistics, and for how long

Statistics are received and stored by our own collector: Cloudflare Workers + Cloudflare D1 (Cloudflare, Inc.). It acts solely as a processor on our instructions — it provides compute and storage and does not use this data for its own purposes. There are no other recipients. Events are kept for 180 days and crash and hang reports for 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically. On request we will delete rows by install identifier ahead of that limit; if you have already deleted the identifier from your device, the rows cannot technically be matched to you and will expire on their own. As with any internet service, your IP address takes part in the connection at the network level and may appear briefly in the provider's own security logs under its own policy, but it is not written to our database and is not attached to events.

Notifications

Reminders are local iOS notifications. They are created on the device and need no server. You can turn them off in iOS Settings.

Children

The app is not intended for unsupervised use by children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's update description.
