Questions and answers
Do I need an account?
No. Your library lives on your iPhone. With iCloud on, it mirrors into your own private iCloud database, which we cannot access.
Is there a friends feed or ratings?
No. Novely has no public ratings, reviews or feed. That is a deliberate choice, not a feature we postponed.
Where do covers and descriptions come from?
From Google Books and Open Library, falling back to the Apple iTunes lookup when neither has a cover. The app sends them only your search query or an ISBN. Book data is provided by these services.
Can I move my library from Goodreads?
Yes, via CSV import. You can export a CSV backup or a Novely transfer file at any time.
How do I delete my data?
Delete books in the app or delete the app itself. If iCloud is on, you can remove Novely data in your device's iCloud settings.
