Pawcard Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Pawcard app for iOS processes, where it is stored and how to delete it. Data controller: Alina Demina. Contact: support@softroom.app.

Where your data is stored

Records you create in the app are stored locally on your device in protected iOS storage. We have no access to this data and no server of our own that receives it.

  • A breed photo is requested from ru.wikipedia.org only when you tap for it, and only the breed name is sent. Automatic loading is a separate switch in settings, off by default. Clinic search sends coordinates to Apple Maps.
  • Backups are encrypted on device (AES-256-GCM) with a password only you know.

Cloud sync

The app does not use iCloud or any other cloud storage. Data can be moved between devices only through a backup you create yourself.

Accounts

No registration is required or available. We do not know who you are.

Third-party services

The app connects to the following services: Wikipedia (фото породы), Apple Maps (поиск клиник рядом). Only what is needed for the request is sent (for example, a search string or coordinates). These services have their own privacy policies.

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs, no trackers and no advertising identifier. The App Tracking Transparency prompt is not shown because there is no tracking.

Purchases

The app has no purchases, subscriptions or ads.

Camera and photos

The camera and photo library are used only for features you start yourself (scanning, recognition, attaching a photo). Images are processed on device and are not sent to the developer.

Notifications

Reminders are local iOS notifications. They are created on the device and need no server. You can turn them off in iOS Settings.

Reference information

Reference ranges, charts and hints in the app are for general information only and are not medical or veterinary advice. For health questions, consult a professional.

Children

The app is not intended for unsupervised use by children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Deleting your data

How to delete your data is described on the separate Delete your data page. If you have questions, write to support@softroom.app.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's update description.
