Where your data is stored

Records you create in the app are stored locally on your device in protected iOS storage. We have no access to this data and no server of our own that receives it.

• Camera frames and photos used for quote and barcode recognition are processed on device and never uploaded.
• The microphone and speech recognition are used only to dictate a note on a chapter. Speech is recognised on device; the audio is not kept or uploaded.

iCloud

If iCloud is enabled on your device, the app's database mirrors into your private CloudKit database. Only you can access it through your Apple ID; the developer cannot read it. You can turn sync off in iCloud settings.

Accounts

No registration is required or available. We do not know who you are.

Third-party services

The app connects to the following services: Google Books, Open Library, Apple iTunes Search. Only what is needed for the request is sent (for example, a search string or coordinates). These services have their own privacy policies.

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs, no trackers and no advertising identifier. The App Tracking Transparency prompt is not shown because there is no tracking.

Purchases

The app has no purchases, subscriptions or ads.

Camera and photos

The camera and photo library are used only for features you start yourself (scanning, recognition, attaching a photo). Images are processed on device and are not sent to the developer.

Notifications

Reminders are local iOS notifications. They are created on the device and need no server. You can turn them off in iOS Settings.

Children

The app is not intended for unsupervised use by children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's update description.
